Step 7 – Have an Organized Approach to TOEFL Speaking
The seventh step to successfully pass the TOEFL iBT Exam is learning competent speaking skills: decoding the speaking task, organizing a coherent response including a topic statement, delivering rich details in the body of the speech, and ending with a conclusion. Despite your preparedness, you will have difficulty on the speaking section, but, if you have completed all the prior steps to this “7 Step Program to Pass the TOEFL iBT Exam!”, you will have the vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, listening, and reading proficiencies that will be crucial elements in helping you to score high in TOEFL iBT speaking. Additionally, after having taken the writing course, you will have the organizational skills that you can transfer to your speaking proficiencies.
Through a 20 minute video, TOEFL Speaking Lesson 1 will teach you three important strategies regarding the paired-choice independent speaking task:
1. How to answer the paired-choice speaking task
2. How to organize a high-scoring response for the paired-choice speaking task
3. What type of practice to do to effectively prepare for the paired-choice speaking task
As you learn these three important strategies, you will see and hear an example speaking task followed by a discussion of 6 characteristics that will make this example speech score high. Hi Micheal
I intend to continue my master degree in 2010 which 100 score. I took Toefl for several times. The maximum score is 91. My weakest point is Speaking part. I got the score around 18-19. Also writing part my score is 22-24. I need 25 scores for both parts.
My question is
Is it possible to achieve my goal within 2 – 3 weeks. Because I have the time line to take the GRE in next month and there is no time left?
Because I have my regular work, therefore I have only 4 hours a day to study.
For the time limit, which lessons I should focus? And can these lessons help me to achieve my goal with my time limit?
Thank you in advance.
Vanessa:
Yesterday, I sent you the information for your lesson.
Michael
I’ve already bought the lesson 1 for the Speaking section and have sent the email but I haven’t received any response yet. How long should I wait to get the video and start practising??
Thanks
