A Powerfully Effective TOEFL Speaking Lesson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Step 7 – Have an Organized Approach to TOEFL Speaking
“Why is this the seventh step in passing the TOEFL iBT?”
The seventh step to successfully pass the TOEFL iBT Exam is learning competent speaking skills: decoding the speaking task, organizing a coherent response including a topic statement, delivering rich details in the body of the speech, and ending with a conclusion. Despite your preparedness, you will have difficulty on the speaking section, but, if you have completed all the prior steps to this “7 Step Program to Pass the TOEFL iBT Exam!” you will have the vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, listening, and reading proficiencies that will be crucial elements in helping you to score high in TOEFL iBT speaking. Additionally, after having taken the writing lessons, you will have the organizational skills that you can transfer to your speaking proficiencies. Therefore, my speaking lessons are the seventh step because it is the most demanding requiring a thorough knowledge of the first six steps before you can successfully complete this step. For example, many programs require a minimum score of 26/30 pts. on TOEFL Speaking. Trust me, you need this lesson if you want to score higher than 26/30 pts.
“What’s in TOEFL Speaking Lesson 2?”
TOEFL Speaking Lesson 2, a 63 minute video, building on the pre-speaking strategies you learned on TOEFL Speaking Lesson 1, shows you how to create sharply-focused thesis statements for the open-choice and paired-choice independent speaking tasks. You get….
63 minutes of instruction
Two sample speaking responses and analyses plus a discussion of seven effective organizational techniques you can use to organize your speaking tasks
Step-by-step instruction about five advanced grammar structures you can use to create sharply-focused and grammatically correct thesis statements
Twenty skill-building exercises in which you practice creating thesis statements for ten open choice and ten paired-choice speaking tasks
********The most important part, TOEFL Speaking Lesson 2 gives you the chance to practice what you have learned
********You get the chance to practice the grammar structures and the techniques for creating sharply-focused and grammatically correct thesis statements
********You will see twenty example thesis statements illustrating the varying grammar structures learned in this lesson
“Why do I need this lesson?”
Asking that question is equivalent to asking, “Why do I need water?” Just like you will die without water, your speaking score will “die” if you do not put into practice the instruction learned in TOEFL Speaking Lesson 2. For example, a common problem that causes TOEFLers to score low on TOEFL speaking is poor organization. Another common problem for TOEFLers is that they do not use advanced grammar structures in their speaking. This video solves both problems: you will learn everything you need to know about (1) organizing and (2) creating thesis statements with advanced grammar structures that will make TOEFL iBT human raters leap with joy. And if they are happy, you’re going to get a high score on the first two speaking tasks. Then everyone is happy. So your small investment in taking this lesson is going to pay off big time.
