    Some time ago, I wanted to put together a TOEFL vocabulary list to distribute to my TOEFL students at California State University, San Bernardino. To begin building my lists, I consulted college-levels textbooks from physics to linguistics–and every discipline in between. I read 26 different college textbooks representing a plethora of disciplines, and, as I read, I wrote down words that I thought important for non-native speakers who wanted to pass the TOEFL iBT. A curious thing happened after 1,700 words: I stopped finding new words and the words I had already written down started to reappear in these college textbooks. Then it dawned on me: I had finished my list at 1,700 words.

    Hi Michael,

    I started your method, I thing that it can help me, and I think that is a good idea.

    I had presented the toefl test twice, the fisrt time was in september 25 with a score of 65, I worked hard by my own, and then I presented it again on Nov 20 wit the folloeing scores.

    Reading 20
    listening 21
    Speaking 15
    writing 24
    TOTAL 80

    Then I started again my studies by my own, I hope to present the test in the beggining of february, but this last month I want to try your method. Is a challege for me, I need score of 100.

    I had took toelf test 2 times and unfortunely I had failed in both. Las time I got 16 in reading, 13 in listening, 18 and speaking and 15 in wrintting, however, i need a higher score as following: 21 for reading, 18 for listening, 26 for speaking and 24 for writting, also, i would like to improve my personal English skills.

    I’ve been interested about your 7 steps in passing toefl IBT.I already took the test twice but unfortunately, i still failed.I got low scores on both reading and listening.My speaking is 22 and writing is 21.Please help me improve my study techiniques to pass the exam.I’ll be taking again toefl ibt soon and hoping to make it this time. Practice everything that is suggested for 1 month, and then, if you want, we can do some 1 one 1 coaching with some writing and speaking tasks.     i have been writing toefl for last five times (ibt) , my board requirment (passing)is R-21/L-18/S-26/W-24, but i have not able to get these score,but getting these marks reading 18/ listening 26 / speaking 24 / writing 20 … please advice how to improve.
