The last time Liu Pan took the TOEFL iBT, he scored 14 points on the writing section of the test, which gave him a fair rating by the TOEFL iBT human raters. He was not happy.
Therefore, he is now taking onlineĀ TOEFL lessons so he can improve his academic writing proficiency and improve his score on the writing section from 14 to 24 points. Over the last few weeks, Liu has been studying writing lessons and completing practice exercises to improve the structure and development of his integrated writing tasks. Each week, after reviewing a few integrated writing lessons, he takes an integrated writing practice test after which time a TOEFL specialist reads, evaluates, scores, and recommends additional lessons to help him improve.
His practice test scores are improving, and now he is consistently scoring around 20/30 pts, which is a lot better than before. Liu Pan still has a ways to go, but at least he is making progress and has a plan.Ā Soon enough he will be able to score 24/30 on the writing section of the TOEFL iBT.
